About The Rolston’s

LeRoy’s Testimony

At the age of 5, I realized that I was a sinner and needed Christ to save me. After the Wednesday evening services I came home and had asked my mother to show me how to be saved. She took me through the Romans Road and I prayed and asked Christ to be my personal Savior. Because I grew up in a Christian home, I was constantly influenced by God’s Word. I had followed His leading in my life to go to BibleCollege. The summer after my freshman year at college, God used a mission trip to Mexico to confirm His call in my life for missions. Two years passed and I married my help meet. The following summer the Lord gave us the opportunity to join the Hodges in Honduras. After spending three weeks with them and seeing all of the different needs, we were convinced that God was burdening our hearts for this field. We visited Honduras again and found that God had increased our love for the souls of this country. We are excited and anticipate fulfilling God’s will for our lives. My desire is to spread the Gospel and disciple the Honduran people so that one day they can effectively reach their own people with the Gospel.

Amber’s Testimony

I did not have the privilege of growing up in a Christian home, but God, in His mercy, sought me out. My parents always thought it was important for me to go to church camp in the summer. One evening, when I was nine years old, I was sitting in an evening service at camp and realized that I needed Jesus as my own personal Savior. I understood that it was only through Jesus that I could have a new life and a home in heaven. After returning home from camp, I told my parents that I wanted to go to church, so we started going! As a teenager, I attended a youth conference in which the preacher challenged us to surrender to whatever place that God had for us to serve Him. He also challenged us to surrender to do that whenever, with whoever, and however God wanted us to. That night I told the Lord wherever, whenever, with whoever, and however, I would go! I am so thankful for the sold-out husband God gave to me several years later. After being married for a short time and earnestly seeking God’s will for our lives, God has shown us that Honduras is our place. I am so thankful to be by my husband’s side doing just exactly what God has planned for us.
